About:

Natalie was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she lived until moving to Asheville, North Carolina to study at the University of North Carolina Asheville, earning a BFA in Photography, as well as a minor in Environmental Science and a Sustainability Certificate. She currently resides in Portland, Maine, where she is earning an MFA from Maine College of Art and Design. Interest in both the arts and environmental sciences influence much of Natalie’s studio practices and projects, and her work centers around the concept of time and change as a means of communicating environmental topics such as climate change.
