Natalie was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, where she lived until moving to Asheville, North Carolina to study at the University of North Carolina Asheville. In school, she studied studio art with a BFA in Photography, and earned both a minor in Environmental Science and a Sustainability Certificate. This interest and background in both the arts and environmental sciences influences much of Natalie’s studio practices and projects.
